Planning Your Below Deck Charter: FAQs

Navigating the world of superyacht charters can sometimes raise questions. Here are some answers to common inquiries:

Q: What’s included in the charter price?
A: The base price typically covers the yacht rental, crew salaries, and yacht insurance. Additional costs, known as the Advanced Provisioning Allowance (APA), will cover fuel, food, beverages, dockage fees, communication costs, and other incidentals. Our transparent pricing policy ensures you'll receive a detailed breakdown tailored to your specific charter.

Q: Can I customize my itinerary?
A: Absolutely! While we offer suggested routes for popular destinations, your charter is entirely bespoke. Our team works closely with you and the captain to craft an itinerary that aligns perfectly with your desires, whether it's exploring secluded coves, vibrant nightlife, or world-class diving spots.

Q: Are guests allowed to bring their own provisions?
A: While the yacht will be fully provisioned to your preferences based on your APA, specific requests can often be accommodated. We encourage open communication about any dietary restrictions, preferred brands, or special occasions you wish to celebrate on board.

Q: What kind of crew can I expect?
A: On a superyacht like those featured on Below Deck, you can expect a highly professional, discreet, and experienced crew. This includes the Captain, First Mate, Engineer, Chef, Chief Steward/ess, and several Deckhands and Steward/esses. Their primary goal is to ensure your safety, comfort, and ultimate enjoyment throughout the charter.

Q: What's the best time to charter in the Bahamas or Caribbean?
A: The peak season for both the Bahamas and Caribbean generally runs from November to May, offering warm, dry weather and calm seas. However, the shoulder seasons (late spring/early fall) can also offer excellent conditions with fewer crowds.
