Understanding Your Yacht Charter Costs: What's Included?

Transparency is key to a seamless booking experience. When you plan a yacht charter Ft. Lauderdale with YATR, the quoted price for your luxury escape typically includes several essential components:

• Base Rate: This is the hourly or daily rate for the vessel itself, usually covering 4-8 hours for a half or full-day charter. This rate accounts for the yacht's use, standard fuel for local cruising, and general maintenance.
• Mandatory Tip (15%): A customary gratuity for the dedicated crew members who ensure your comfort, safety, and enjoyment throughout your journey. This tip acknowledges their professional service, from navigating the waters to serving refreshments.
• Florida Sales Tax (7%): As required by state law, this tax applies to all charter services.
• Optional Add-ons: While not included in the base price, these personalize your experience. They can range from gourmet catering tailored to your preferences, additional exhilarating water toys (beyond what's standard on your chosen yacht), bespoke event planning services, or even a professional photographer to capture your memories. Discuss these options with our team to customize your yacht rental Fort Lauderdale adventure.

Enhancing Your Fort Lauderdale Yacht Charter Experience

Beyond the cost, what truly defines a luxury yacht rental experience are the moments you create. Fort Lauderdale's diverse marine environment offers endless possibilities. Here are some suggestions to make your charter truly unforgettable:

• Explore the Intracoastal Waterway: Witness the grandeur of multi-million dollar waterfront estates, lush tropical scenery, and iconic drawbridges from a unique perspective. It's a fantastic way to immerse yourself in the local charm and admire the city's architectural gems.
• Anchor at a Sandbar: Head to the popular Fort Lauderdale sandbar or a more secluded spot. Drop anchor, swim in the clear, shallow waters, enjoy your favorite beverages, and simply bask in the Florida sunshine. Many of our yachts come equipped with inflatable toys and floats, perfect for a day of playful relaxation.
• Sunset Cruises: There's nothing quite like a South Florida sunset painting the sky with fiery hues. A sunset cruise provides a romantic and picturesque backdrop for any celebration, creating stunning photo opportunities and lasting memories.
• Dining & Entertainment Afloat: Many of our yachts offer ample space for exquisite dining experiences. Arrange for a private chef or catering service to prepare a gourmet meal onboard, allowing you to dine under the stars with the magnificent Fort Lauderdale skyline as your backdrop.
