How Much Does It Cost to Charter a Yacht?

Yacht charter costs vary widely based on size, location, and duration. In Miami, expect to pay $500-$1,500/hour for 40-60ft yachts, $1,500-$5,000/hour for 60-100ft luxury yachts, and $5,000-$15,000+/hour for superyachts over 100ft. Multi-day charters are priced per night and often offer better value per hour.

YATR charter prices include the captain, crew (on larger vessels), fuel for standard cruising areas, basic amenities, water toys, ice, and safety equipment. Food, beverages, premium add-ons (jet skis, catering, DJ), gratuity, and dockage fees at external marinas are typically additional.

Yes. Many yacht owners offer weekday discounts of 10-20% compared to weekend rates. Off-season months (May-November) also tend to have lower pricing and better availability. Booking a half-day (4 hours) instead of a full day is another way to reduce costs.

Party yacht charters in Miami range from $2,000 to $10,000+ depending on the vessel size and guest count. A 50-65ft party yacht for 12-20 guests typically costs $3,000-$6,000 for a 4-hour charter. Add $500-$2,000 for catering, DJ, and decorations.

The most affordable options include: booking a smaller vessel (40-50ft) for 4 hours on a weekday during off-season, which can start around $1,500-$2,000 total. Group bookings help split costs. YATR also features transparent pricing with no hidden broker fees, so the price you see is the price you pay.

Gratuity is customary but not required. Industry standard is 15-20% of the charter price. For exceptional service, 20-25% is common. Tips are typically given directly to the captain who distributes among the crew. Some charter packages include a suggested gratuity.

Yes, YATR charter prices include fuel for standard cruising within the local area (Biscayne Bay, Key Biscayne, Miami Beach coastline). Extended trips beyond the standard cruising area, such as to Bimini or the Florida Keys, may incur additional fuel surcharges.

Multi-day charters in Miami start around $3,000-$8,000 per night for 60-80ft yachts and $10,000-$50,000+ per night for superyachts. A typical 3-day Bahamas trip on a 75ft yacht costs $15,000-$30,000. Multi-day rates are generally 20-30% less per hour compared to day charter pricing.
