Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need sailing experience?
No experience is needed. All YATR sailing charters include a licensed captain who handles navigation and sailing. You can relax and enjoy or learn the ropes.
How fast do sailing yachts go?
Sailing yachts typically cruise at 6-10 knots depending on wind conditions. The experience is about the journey, not the speed.
Are sailing yachts comfortable?
Modern sailing yachts feature comfortable cabins, full galleys, heads, and spacious cockpits. Many include air conditioning and all the amenities of a motor yacht.
